General Manager I was trained by a CPA in Portage, IN to prepare tax returns in 1964. In 1968 my family moved to the Stockton, CA area and I was employed by a company-owned H&R Block. I moved to Casper in 1971 and worked for H&R Block until I opened Shamrock Tax Service in 1975 and operated the tax preparation service out of my home. In November of 1981, with my daughter’s help, we opened a franchise office in Plaza East under the name of Mr. 1040 East.
I have always trained my own employees, at times writing textbooks that I taught from. I have specialized in helping set up small businesses, advising and preparing their taxes.
Preparing taxes has always been very interesting and challenging to me. My clients are like family to me, and I enjoy seeing them year after year.

President After moving from a small town in California, I soon became employed by Shamrock Accounting in 2008 as a receptionist. That same year I began my education through Peoples Income Tax School out of Richmond, VA, and began preparing taxes. I prepare all returns from basic personal returns to S Corporations and Partnerships, specializing in, but not limited to childcare, truck driving, and cosmetology. I am also responsible for bookkeeping, payroll and quarterly reports. In 2011 I was appointed President of the Company and welcome anyone into my office, not only as a client, but also as a friend.

MEAGHAN M WALKER

Bookkeeper/Tax Preparer After moving to Casper from California I began working at Shamrock Accounting while attending Kelly Walsh High School. After graduating in 2010 and exploring other avenues I relized I enjoyed the accounting profession and began my schooling to become a tax preparer.
I returned to Shamrock Accounting in 2011 as a bookkeeper/tax preparer, specializing in but not limited to nail technicians, cosmetology, daycares and estate tax preparation. I look forward to the upcoming season and assisting my returning clients as well as welcoming my new ones.
